Many Gen Z individuals find solace in influencers who share their real-life experiences, struggles, and aspirations rather than attempting to defy reality by making their lifestyles match a fabricated societal norm or ideal. Furthermore, influencers have the power to challenge societal norms and promote inclusivity. They often highlight diverse perspectives, body types, and cultural backgrounds that are underrepresented in mainstream media. This level of exposure encourages our generation to develop a more inclusive mindset, initiating an increase in acceptance and diversity. Moreover, social media influencers can inspire and motivate Gen Z to pursue their passions. By sharing personal stories, achievements, and insights, influencers can ignite the entrepreneurial spirit in young individuals like us, which is vital as we begin to confront the challenge of choosing our future careers.
